Originally from Zimbabwe, Dr. Mvududu grew up in a family of educators and experienced firsthand the transformative power of access to high-quality education. She is guided by a conviction that education is both a public good and a pathway to opportunity, and she is committed to preparing graduates who combine professional competence with strong character, cultural humility, and a calling to serve.

Under her leadership, the CHEA continues SPU’s longstanding mission to cultivate thoughtful scholars, compassionate leaders, and creative problem-solvers rooted in Christian faith. “We are preparing graduates who will contribute meaningfully to their communities,” Dr. Mvududu said. “Our goal is to foster leaders who value justice, service, and holistic human flourishing.”
