Division of Education Scholarships

Graduate and doctoral students can apply for Education Scholarships in the College of Humanities, Education, and the Arts using one application. The disbursement of funds will depend on your program route and duration. The application is currently closed for the 2025–26 academic year and will reopen in spring 2026. Students should be able to demonstrate financial need and elaborate on their position as outlined in the application.

Required criteria for application:

  • Be admitted to a Division of Education graduate degree or certification program.
  • Be enrolled at least half time each quarter during the academic year.
  • Maintain all student requirements for continuation in the program.

Some donors have established funds with the following additional criteria for qualifying applicants:

  • Students working in state-approved Christian schools
  • Students from an under-represented ethnic minority group

The Division of Education Scholarship Committee awards scholarships based on available funds, which varies from year to year. Students may receive only one award per academic year. Award priority will be given to students who have not yet received education scholarship funds. Exceptions to the allocation schedule are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact the Associate Director for Graduate Programs with any questions.
