Join the Church Leaders Forum with Dr. Soong-Chan Rah and Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil
How can we connect God’s concern for justice and reconciliation to the ministry of discipleship and worship in our churches? How can we take the next step on this journey?
Seattle Pacific Seminary’s Asian American Ministry Program, in partnership with Seattle Pacific University's John Perkins Center for Reconciliation, Leadership Training, and Community Development, and the Office of University Ministries, will host a two-part Church Leaders Forum, “Pastoral Implications for Racial Reconciliation and the Church,” on February 9 and 23, 2016.
Each day of this two-part series begins with an SPU chapel service, followed by a luncheon and forum. The first gathering, featuring Dr. Soong-Chan Rah as the keynote speaker, takes place February 9. The second meeting occurs February 23 and features Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil as the primary speaker.
Church leaders are encouraged to attend in teams, as there will be opportunities for table discussions and a question-and-answer session.
