What is something you wish everyone knew about your major?
The VISCOM major is designed for students to endlessly express their creativity. The foundational courses help you identify your strongest skills and help you further improve for a career that you envision for the future.
What was your most impactful class or professor?
It’s hard to name one single class or professor as they all helped me create a strong foundation to become a great designer in the future.
What are some of your career goals?
My career goal is to become a successful designer that in the future could have a positive impact on people’s lives.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Be involved. Join clubs, organizations, attend events, sports games etc. This is where I met some of my closest friends that I now consider family.
What SPU has meant to you?
After being here for four years, SPU feels like second home. I have met people here from all over the world and it amazes me to see a new world perspective aside from traveling. Moving here from the East Coast was probably one of the best decisions I ever made.
