The dietetics major was accepted into the very competitive post-graduate dietetic internship at Oregon Health & Science University. One of her professor’s wrote, “As an international student from China, she entered a new culture, proficiently learned English, and has become a leader both among her nutrition peers and among all international students at the university.”

Hometown/country: China

Major/Minor: Major: Food and Nutritional Sciences with a dietetics emphasis

Favorite/Most challenging class (and a brief explanation why): My favorite class is general chemistry, because I had a very inspiring and caring professor. Most challenging class is anatomy because of the intense course schedule and working load.

Favorite memory of SPU: Laying on the lawn in the summer at Tiffany Loop, and students and professors praying together before exams.

Biggest life lesson learned during college: God is with us every season and walks through the hard times with us. Never stop hoping and praying.

Plans after graduation: I’m moving to Portland for a dietetic internship at Oregon Health Science University.
