Why I Teach at SPU

Steve Johnson, Associate Professor of Mathematics

“While I was pursuing my undergraduate degree I came to the realization that what I wanted to do is teach at a liberal arts college, preferably a Christian one. As I was finishing my doctorate a position opened at SPU. Although I had other offers I decided to come here. Now, more than 30 years later, it is a decision I have never regretted.”
