  • Upcoming Conference: Education for Excellence, Diversity, and Respect

    Seattle Pacific University and the Janusz Korczak Association of the USA will host an international conference August 22-25, 2018 on the topic of Education for Excellence, Diversity, and Respect. The conference will provide teachers and educational staff with hands-on workshops centered around the the legacy of Janusz Korczak (1878-1942), a Polish-Jewish pediatrician, writer, educator, and father of progressive orphanages and children's rights.     Seattle Pacific University’s annual Education Job Fair will be held April 24, 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m., in Upper Gwinn Commons. The Education Job Fair will be attended by SPU teacher, school counselor, and administrative program completers looking to connect with employers.     Mark your calendars for the morning of Wednesday, May 25, when young students from Honey Dew Elementary in Renton visit SPU as part of the “Kinder to College” program. As in the past, these elementary-age students at the start of their formal learning career will catch a glimpse of just how far they can go.
