    What to Expect After Your Appointment

    You have finished the first step — registering for classes! Here are the next steps for you ... and when to expect them.

    Housing

    You will be sent a sent a Campus Living booklet within two weeks of your admission date. The booklet contains instructions about applying for housing and submitting a housing deposit. It also includes information about how students are prioritized for placement and how roommates are selected.

    Winter Quarter 2014
    If your housing application and deposit are received

    • by December 11, you will receive your assignment shortly after Christmas.
    • between December 12 and December 20, you will receive your assignment when you check in (January 5,1-4 p.m.).
    • after December 20, your application will be processed as space permits.

    Spring Quarter 2014
    If your housing application and deposit are received

    • by March 19, you will receive your assignment by the end of Spring Break.
    • between March 20 and March 26, you will receive your assignment when you check in (April 1, 1-4 p.m.).
    • after March 26, your application will be processed as space permits.

    Summer Sessions 2014
    If you need housing in the summer, contact Housing directly at 206-281-2188.

    Please note that both the application and deposit must be received by the deadline for an assignment to be made. For example, if an application is received by December 11, but the deposit is received after December 11, the assignment will not be ready until January.

    Winter Quarter Orientation

    New students enrolled for Winter Quarter classes are invited to attend an orientation event open house on Monday January 7, 2014 in the Library Seminar Room from 4-6 p.m., with a program from 4:30-5 p.m. This event is hosted by the Office of Student Programs.
