Reducing the risk of COVID-19 infection on campus is a shared responsibility, and everyone needs to do their part. No university can guarantee an environment free of COVID-19, and even with all of SPU’s policies and protocols, it is still possible that people could contract COVID-19 on campus. However, by collectively taking precautions, we can promote each other’s health and well-being.
Below are links to the resources available to SPU students, faculty, and staff regarding coronavirus.
COVID-19 testing resources
Students: COVID-19 testing is available for students at Health Services. Please call 206-281-2231 for an appointment during regular business hours.
Staff, faculty, and for students when Health Services is closed: COVID-19 testing can be obtained through the following resources:
Community testing sites
At-home testing
- Free, at-home COVID-19 test kits can be ordered online for delivery by mail from Washington Department of Health via the Say Yes! COVID Test program.
- Washingtonians are being asked to report all positive at-home test results at Say Yes! COVID Test Digital Assistant (even if those testing kits were not obtained through the Say Yes! COVID Test (SYCT) program).
Isolation information
Current CDC guidance regarding isolation
SPU students should report any personal positive COVID test results to Health Services for assistance with isolation (see also the SPU Isolation protocol).
