COVID-19 Testing and Off-Hours Health Care Resources
SPU Health Services is able to test students for SARS CoV-2 on campus in a limited capacity. We can send specimens to our offsite lab partners for RT-PCR and serology tests and we plan to have some resources available for onsite rapid antigen testing as soon as they are available to us. We will follow national and local health authorities guidelines for testing and we will also refer students and employees to off site testing centers when it is faster or appropriate to do so. Recommendations for testing will be variable, situational and resource dependent.
Additionally, testing availability in King County has increased. See the King County website for information on how to access testing in the community. Off campus resources are recommended for students who need medical consultation when SPU Health Services is closed. Regardless of where you are seen or tested, please contact Health Services to report new symptoms or positive tests or exposures related to COVID-19.
