Kristie Feldmann is certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult nurse practitioner. She is also certified through National Certification Corporation as a women’s health nurse practitioner.

She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner for over 15 years, with the first 13 years spent in women’s health. While she remains passionate about women’s health care, she says she has really enjoyed the opportunity to practice primary care. Kristie enjoys working with patients of all ages, but says there is something very special about working in college health, and it is a true honor and privilege to be a part of students’ college journey as they embark on new experiences and blaze their own path in life.

Kristie’s philosophy of care has always been a holistic approach, taking into account the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each of her patients. She understands that being a patient can be a vulnerable experience, and she strives to make every patient feel welcome, heard, and supported.

Patient education is also important to Kristie. Areas of particular interest to her include reproductive health, preventative health, and the mind/body connection. Knowledge is power, and she desires all her patients to feel empowered with regards to their own health.

In her spare time, Kristie enjoys being creative and active. Her interests include photography, dance, cooking, gardening, hiking, and running.
