Faith in Action

As a student at Seattle Pacific, you are welcome to find yourself in God’s story. And the exciting part is in this discovery. That’s why we open so many doors to community, worship, and service.

A Place in the SPU Family

A wide variety of Christian traditions are represented in the SPU community of faith. University Ministries offers faith challenges and growing experiences in a welcoming campus environment to help you in your walk with God.

Chapel service

Chapel, Group, Communion

Chapel is our weekly community worship service; group offers a mid-week night worship experience; and Communion is a smaller, more contemplative service.

Stretching Limits

The John Perkins Center encourages us to engage the culture and change the world by modeling reconciliation and contributing to community health and wholeness.

  • SPRINT (Seattle Pacific Reachout International) takes students on service-learning and mission trips lasting between two and six weeks, to places such as the slums of Rio or impoverished rural Haiti.
  • Urban Involvement connects SPU students to a variety of community organizations through weekly service teams and quarterly immersion experiences.
  • Latreia is a resource for SPU students interested in serving in Seattle. It is great for SPU students seeking to connect with other students with similar interests.

Worship Service

Chapel Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday morning, students, faculty, and staff gather for worship and reflection on the Christian walk. Not to be missed.
