Nathan was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, known to most as the horseradish capital of the world. When he was three he moved south, to Waunakee, Wisconsin — the only Waunakee in the world — where he lived for 12 years before moving south again to the Good Neighbor City of Middleton, Wisconsin.
After high school he attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. While at Taylor he discovered his interest in student development. Two years after graduating, Nathan returned to Taylor University to pursue his graduate degree in higher education and student development.
Nathan and his family are excited to be living in Seattle as members of the Seattle Pacific community.
