Seattle Pacific University holds that all persons are created in the image of God and possess intrinsic dignity and worth. Likewise, the University respects and values the uniqueness of all of our community members in an atmosphere free from sexual or racial harassment, and discrimination based on gender, race, age, or disability.

As a religious educational institution affiliated with the Free Methodist Church of North America, Seattle Pacific University is permitted and reserves the right to prefer employees or prospective employees on the basis of religion.

Violations of the University’s nondiscrimination or community standards policies should be reported as soon as possible after the alleged action to the above complaint coordinators  for possible resolution, investigation, and corrective action (if necessary).
