SPU Stories is a digital publication focused on the stories of the people who make up the Seattle Pacific University community. It features stories written about and by SPU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. It’s also home to the online version of Response.

Response magazine

Response is an award-winning print and online magazine for thoughtful Christians worldwide, rooted in the people, life, and mission of Seattle Pacific University.

First published as a tabloid in the 1970s, Response became a full-color magazine in 2002 and continues to explore the encounter between education, faith, and culture, and is an informed voice for Christian engagement in the world. It is published twice a year and mailed to 60,000 alumni, parents, and friends of SPU in all 50 states and in 87 foreign countries.

Faculty/Staff Bulletin

The Faculty/Staff Bulletin is the official internal e-newsletter to faculty and staff. The Bulletin is published on Mondays (or Tuesdays if Monday is a holiday), and every other Monday during the summer. The deadline to submit information is the preceding Thursday. Submissions may be edited for clarity.

The Bulletin is edited by Tracy Norlen, director of public information. The Bulletin is divided into several sections and includes periodic messages from the president and vice presidents, campus news and event information, faculty and staff news, and extra features.
