Education: BA, Belmont University, 2014; MS, Azusa Pacific University, 2016. At SPU since 2018.

Luke grew up in North Canton, Ohio and upon graduating from high school, he headed south to Nashville, Tennessee to study communications at Belmont University. While at Belmont, Luke worked as a new-student orientation leader, where he found his passion for working with college students.

After graduation, Luke moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to begin studying for a master's in College Counseling and Student Development at Azusa Pacific University. During his time at APU, he worked as the NCAA Compliance and Academic Support graduate assistant in athletics. His role focused on academic advising, support programs, and the holistic development of student-athletes. Luke then transitioned into a full-time role as an academic success coach, where he continued his work in academic support, focusing on academic advising, academic probation, and student-athlete development.

After his time at APU, Luke spent a brief period at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, working as a learning specialist for the football team before transitioning to his current role at SPU.

Luke could not be more excited to work with students, staff, and faculty at SPU, and to build relationships with his residents in Ashton Hall. Luke is a diehard Cleveland sports fan and can be found around campus with an iced coffee, laughing at his own jokes and cheering on the Falcons.
