Outside Scholarships

Air Force Health Professions Scholarship

  • Available to: US citizens who have been accepted to a graduate program in a health profession.

Altec Design Scholarship

  • Amount: $750
  • Available to: Undergraduate students who will be enrolled in Fall 2021. Available to any major.
  • Deadline: July 15, 2021

American Pavilion annual general education scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Any
  • Deadline: July 1st; Annual

Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,500-$20,000
  • Available to: Students of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity who are US citizens or eligible non-citizens. Students must be enrolling as an undergraduate in a college or university in the Fall of 2020 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 or earned a GED. Strong consideration for students who live at or below the poverty level and are the first to attend college in their family.

Aspiring Physician Award

  • Amount: $5,000
  • Available to: Students who are currently enrolled in Premed or other undergraduate science programs. Must have cumulative GPA of 3.75.

Barefoot Community Impact Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited university.

B. Davis Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: All high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.

Beldon Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: 2 students seeking a degree in business, management, communications, marketing or related field. Must have a minimum 3.5 GPA.
  • Deadline: September 01, Annually

Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship

  • Amount: Varies
  • Available to: U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide.

  • Amount: $1,000

  • Available to: Junior or senior in college studying horticulture, agriculture and environmental studies.

The Boeing Company STEM Scholarship by ICW

  • Amount: $1,500
  • Available to: Applicants must be a junior or senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.25, and be majoring in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), a health care field, or be preparing to teach in a STEM field.

Bradford Removal Service Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a business program. In a good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Cardsdirect Future Designer Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,500
  • Available to: U.S. residents who are enrolled full-time in a post-secondary education institution or one that has been formally accepted into a post-secondary educational institution and will begin school within the next calendar year.

CCIS Future Contractor Scholarship

  • Amount: $750
  • Available to: The CCIS Scholarship Essay Contest is open to all citizens and/residents of the United States. Applicants must apply online and include Full Name, Email Address, Permanent Mailing Address, Current/Planned University, Projected Graduation Date, and Area of Study/Major. Finalists must provide proof of current or future enrollment and photo of themselves. Photo and Essay of the winner will be posted on CCIS website to highlight winning submission.

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Students who are members of Christian Community Credit Union and full-time enrolled in college during the 2020-2021 year.

Clubs of America Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Any current college student of an accredited U.S. college or university with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Cobell Scholarship

  • Amount: Varies
  • Available to: Undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled members of a US-Federally Recognized Tribe.

College JumpStart Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: High school 10th-12th graders planning to attend college or university and undergraduate college students. Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal resident.

Community Foundation of Southwest WA Scholarships

  • Amount: $1,000-$5,000
  • Available to: Graduating high school students and undergraduates from Clark County, WA.

Captain James Ahn Special Forces Memorial Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Former Special Forces Service Members who are full-time students pursuing degree/certification completion at an accredited post secondary institution.

CSI Executive Search STEM Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Undergraduate and master's students in all STEM majors. Must be US Citizen to apply.

Custody X Change Single Parent Scholarship

  • Amount: $500-$1,000
  • Available to: Full time enrolled students who have primary physical custody of one or more minor children. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher or be a first year student.
  • Deadline: Annual deadlines: Fall, August 31; Spring, Dec 31; Summer, Apr 3.

David M. Irwin Friend of Higher Education Award by ICW

  • Amount: $1,500
  • Available to: Applicants must be a junior or senior at an ICW college as of Fall 2020 and feel deeply transformed by their college experience. Students with a GPA of 2.5-3.0 encouraged to apply.

DBD Law Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: First year college students.
  • Deadline: July 16, 2021; Annually

Deloris Carter Hampton Scholarship

  • Amount: $4,160
  • Available to: LGBT women of color (with preferences to residents of Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana or Alaska). They must pursue degrees in education, dance, or women’s health and have a demonstrated history of LGBT community leadership and/or activism.
  • Deadline: Due January 8th, Annually

Design Your Future Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,500
  • Available to: Graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students of underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants pursuing design and engineering-related fields. Minimum GPA must be 2.0.
  • Deadline: Spring, January 1st; Fall, June 30th;
  • Instructions: Submit a 500 word essay designing their ideal future and what the student plans to do in order to achieve that dream. See website for details.

Doctors of Nursing Practice Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: All current DNP students must provide proof of having a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 in their doctoral program

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Full-time or part-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at a university or college.

  • Available to: Students who are U.S. citizens and currently attending or accepted to a college, university or trade school. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

E.K. & Lillian F. Bishop Foundation Scholarship by ICW

  • Amount: $3,000
  • Available to: Applicants must have a permanent residence located in Grays Harbor County. Must attend one of the ten ICW colleges in fall 2020 and demonstrate financial need.

Employment BOOST College Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Graduating high school students or students currently attending college. Students must have a 3.6 GPA or above.

EtailPro Entrepreneur Scholarship

  • Amount: 1st place: $2,000; 2nd place: $1,000; 3rd place: $1,000

The Opportunity for Change Scholarship

  • Amount: $500
  • Available to: GPA 3.00, United States resident. For undergraduate or graduate programs, any field of study.

Flash Realty Solutions Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: students enrolled in a Business Administration, Finance or related degree at an accredited university.

Folds of Honor Higher Education Scholarship

  • Amount: $5,000 Yearly
  • Available to: The Higher Education Scholarship is for spouses and dependents of service members who are enrolled, or planning to enroll, in an undergraduate program. Dependent(s) of the service member must be 24 years of age or younger and unmarried.
  • Deadline: April 1st; Annual.

Ford Foundation Fellowships

  • Amount: One year stipends ranging from $25,000 to $45,000.
  • Available to: Predoctoral, dissertation, and postdoctoral fellows committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. Must be US citizens or eligible non-citizen.
  • Deadline: Varies depending on the type of fellowship Dissertation and Postdoctoral Dec 10th; Predoctoral Dec 17th.

Foster Care to Success Scholarships

  • Amount: $2,500–$5,000 Renewable up to five years if the student remains compliant with program requirements.
  • Available to: Undergraduate students under age 25 who have been in foster care.
  • Deadline: March 31st Annually

Future Web Developers Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Majoring in a computer science-related field. Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Deadline: September 30th, Annually

GAMMA MU FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

  • Amount: 1000 to 2500
  • Available to: gay men, under age 35, who hold a high school diploma or GED. Scholarships are for full-time study beginning at an accredited institution. Online education students are excluded.
  • Deadline: Due March 31st, Annually

Gates Millennium Scholarship

  • Amount: Varies based on financial need determined through the FAFSA application. Average award in the past years was $12,785.
  • Available to: Students of color who are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American/Pacific Islander, or Hispanic American. Must be an incoming freshman in the Fall with a minimum GPA of 3.3 or have a GED. Must be eligible for the Federal Pell grant; other criteria on website

Geneva Rock Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,000
  • Available to: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited university, college, trade or vocational school. Scholarship applicants must be in pursuit of construction-related careers including, but not limited to: Construction management, civil engineering, business, and commercial/professional sales.
  • Deadline: By Semester: Fall, Deadline July 1st; Spring, Deadline November 15.

Global Teletherapy Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the 2020-2021 academic year. Must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Deadline: November 12, 2021

Gloria Barron Scholarship

  • Amount: $5,000
  • Available to: 18 students younger than age 19 who are currently working on an inspiring service project or have worked on one in the last year.
  • Deadline: April 15; annual

Hearthstone Housing Foundation Scholarship Fund

  • Amount: $500-$5000
  • Available to: low-income High-School students or full-time undergraduate students attending a college, university, or vocational school​ in the United States. Must be a resident of a county where a Hearthstone property is located.
  • Deadline: March 31, 2021

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

  • Amount: $500-$5,000
  • Available to: High school seniors, undergraduate students, and graduate students of Hispanic heritage who are planning to or enrolled full-time in the Fall. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for high school students and 2.5 for college and graduate students. Must be US citizen, permanent legal resident, DACA or eligible non-citizen (as defined by FAFSA). Emphasis on STEM majors.

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Applicants enrolled in a four-year accredited university or high school seniors providing certified proof of enrollment at a four-year accredited U.S. university. Key Thinkers Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,500
  • Available to: Students who are 18 years or older, a US citizen or Permanent Resident, enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, or trade school, and cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

LawnStarter Lawntrepreneur Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000

League Foundation LGBT Scholarship

  • Available to: graduating high school seniors who self-identify as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender. Applicants must demonstrate community involvement, with preference given to applicants who have had leadership roles.

Maxim Law Scholarship

  • Amount: $1,000
  • Available to: Applicants accepted into an accredited college in the United States and pursuing a college degree in social justice, immigration rights, civil rights, anti-harassment, gender, and women's studies, or other programs that advance justice for all people.

  • Amount: $2,000 Renewable up to 4 years.
  • Available to: Students who are accepted into an eligible nursing, medical, or clinical program. Must be residents within the MetroWest service area.

  • Amount: $5,000

Out To Innovate™ Scholarship for LGBT students in STEM

  • Amount: $5,000
  • Available to: LGBT undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a U.S.-based college or university and seeking engineering, science, mathematics (STEM), or technology degrees. Applicants must have declared a STEM major and have a minimum of two years of postsecondary education with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Passport to College Promise Scholarship

  • Amount: $4,500
  • Available to: Students who spent at least one year in foster care in Washington state after their 16th birthday. Enroll at least half-time by their 22nd birthday. Must be a WA resident.

PixelPlex STEM Scholarship

  • Amount: $2,000
  • Available to: citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., enrolled in college, your field of study is related to science, technology, engineering, math (STEM), economics or business

Point Foundation - LGBT Scholarship

  • Amount: $10,000
  • Available to: must identify as a member of the LGBT community. They must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a United States accredited college or university. High school seniors, bachelor’s or master’s degree students are eligible. Awards are based on financial need, leadership experience, and level of LGBT community involvement.
