Submitted FAFSA after priority deadline
SPU encourages students to complete a FAFSA as early as possible to maximize their aid eligibility. Please submit the FAFSA as soon as you are able to, even if it's after the priority deadline.
Seattle Pacific hasn't received your FAFSA
Please check your FAFSA form to make sure all parts are submitted and processed, and verify SPU is included on the list of colleges receiving your FAFSA. If Seattle Pacific University is not listed on the FAFSA form, submit a correction to add us.
Parent Invite Issues
The information on the invite you send to your parent needs to match their FSA account. If your parent(s) received an email inviting them to be a contributor and the email link isn't working, then the invite information and their FSA account information don't match. Please make sure that everything is the same as what your parent(s) has on their FSA account.
Answered Yes to unsubsidized loan only on the FAFSA
If you answered yes to unsubsidized loans only, this means that you will only receive unsubsidized loans because your parent is unwilling to complete their portion of the FAFSA. If your parent(s) are willing to provide their information on the FAFSA, please answer "no" to possibly qualify for more federal aid.
