By this time in your college search, we guess you are familiar with the acronym FAFSA, which stands for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Submitting your FAFSA is your key to most grants, scholarships, and loans. We’ll guide you through the details.
Undocumented students living in Washington state are eligible to receive Washington State Need Grant funds. To apply, complete the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). Funds are limited, so apply as soon as possible. Instructions on how to complete the WASFA can be found here.
If you are accepted to SPU, we will send you a financial aid offer. Submit your FAFSA by December 1, receive a letter before Christmas; submit by January 5, receive a letter in January; submit by February, receive a letter in March.
