Josie Graybeal: A Vision for the World

She’s not just an accounting major in the School of Business, Government, and Economics. Since transferring from Arizona State University, Josie Graybeal has balanced a rigorous academic and athletic schedule, serving as captain of the SPU women’s soccer team for two of the past three years. And she’s not stopping there. Graybeal plans to serve as an intern with Deloitte & Touche in their tax practice this summer, then continue on to work on her master’s of public accounting degree with a concentration in taxation.

Graybeal is also very involved with Children of the Nations, a nonprofit Christian organization. She has traveled to Sierra Leone twice with the organization to distribute sporting equipment and run soccer camps. She has also helped organize the third annual SPU Meal Marathon event, where student-athletes raise funds to purchase meal ingredients, then package the meals for children worldwide.
