Can Vocation = Ministry?
Faith and Business Certificate Opens a Way

The New Faith and Business Certificate

The new Professional Development Certificate in Faith and Business, offered through the School of Business, Government, and Economics, provides practical new tools for lay business professionals, seminarians, and even church staff. Students start by deepening their understanding of what the Bible teaches about work, the marketplace, vocational ministry, and the role of business. They'll delve into questions such as:

  • How can a Christian live faithfully in the marketplace?
  • What's the relationship between ethics, integrity, and excellence?
  • How can we use business to serve others?
  • How can we develop networks of like-minded peers in the church – and in business – for mutual support and accountability?

Since the program is designed with flexibility in mind, students may begin classes during any quarter, then meet one evening a week for 10 or 11 weeks.
